You stained my expensive
windows and complained
they weren't thick enough.
You were my forecast, always rain,
that trickling mist in my face,
thundering through my
promises of sun.
You're so happy in your smog,
with your Red Bull, cigarettes,
medications from Mexico,
and that girl that wants a baby.
I've been everywhere without you,
and even the rain was beautiful.
